Training and dual studies at FUCHS Europoles

Supported and challenged right from the outset

Joint introductory days with a mentoring system. Planning your own projects and participating in trade shows. Rent subsidies. Qualified and certified trainers at your side. Guarantee of a job in the company for at least twelve months after finishing your training/studies. There are many good reasons to choose training or dual studies at FUCHS Europoles.

Apprentices and students – a joint professional start

In order to quickly learn the ropes with us, you start your training/studies at the beginning of September in the training centre with our introductory days. An apprentice from a later training year will be at your side as a mentor. We have an average of 60 apprentices and students learning with us. Together with our affiliated partner, Pfleiderer, we make sure that our junior employees are well prepared and equipped for getting started in their departments.

FUCHS Europoles GmbH

Simply collegial – immediately in the middle of the action

You are a full-fledged member in the company starting on day one. You will be introduced to a number of departments and receive thorough professional training there. Right from the outset, you will be able to plan and hold events together with the team, moderate meetings, help organise presentations at schools or take part in trade shows. Our employees place importance on fair and good interpersonal dealings. For this reason, you will be personally supported in an easy-going way during your training.

Another outstanding offer at FUCHS Europoles: Our part-time training for those who already have a family, for example, but who still want to become more qualified – reconciling work and personal life. Something else that is unique at FUCHS Europoles: Each year, to fulfil our social responsibility, an apprenticeship is given specifically to a socially disadvantaged or a disabled person.

With my part-time training as an industrial clerk, FUCHS Europoles has given me a way to harmonise my family and my career.

Simply multifaceted – challenging and supporting

We offer top-performing and highly motivated apprentices numerous opportunities – according to the principle of “Show us what you can do and we will support you however we can”. For example, support with the “Vocational School Plus” (BS +) or the Foreign Language Correspondent in English program or further training measures specific to the job.

Right from the outset, support and development meetings are held on a regular basis in order to find out the following: Where do you best fit in with us? What expectations do we have of you and you of us? How do you envision your career path? Training at FUCHS Europoles offers a lot of leeway for creativity and personal ideas. We want our apprentices and students to feel at ease during their training, to get involved and to learn and absorb as much as possible on their own initiative. Our experience is that both sides profit from this.

For one semester, I am able to gather additional work experience through internships at other companies and in this way develop myself further personally and professionally.

Simply dependable – hired and qualified

After completing your training or studies, you are guaranteed a job at our company for twelve months. The guarantee of a job in the company is laid down in our own in-house pay scale for training. We make sure that your entire training will measure up to the qualities that it promises. For this reason, you will find at least one trainer in each of our departments with an ADA (trainer training) certificate. Moreover, a lot of our trainers are certified at the IHK in order to be able to better serve you.

Collaborative training together with our partner Pfleiderer also allows you to receive an additional qualification: being able to see the bigger picture. It gives you the possibility of not only getting to know various departments, but also a completely different company. You will gain insights into different production and business processes and will have even more opportunities to develop personally and thereby have additional choices for just the right the job after your training.

For me, it was clear early on that I wanted to remain in steel construction. I was ecstatic when the news came that FUCHS Europoles was hiring me for the department of my preference.

Opportunities for inventors

Florian Wittmann finished his training as an industrial mechanic at the start of this year. He has a knack for tricky tasks – he enjoys tinkering about until he finds a solution. A great many support meetings are held: Where do you feel at ease? Where do your strengths lie? What do you want to learn? The following crystallises: He wants to become a construction engineer. Right away, a placement is arranged in the Research and Development Department. By the time his studies begin in October, he has been deployed in various production locations as a skilled worker, where he participates as a production helper and can continue developing his own practical skills. He will then have a whole set of practical knowledge with which to start his dual studies in the autumn.
