Radio masts and towers

Radio masts and towers

For setting up and expanding radio networks: for many years now, domestic and foreign customers have counted on the know-how of Europoles. Until today we have erected more than 10,000 radio towers and masts, with heights from 10 to more than 130 m. Various materials are used here, depending on particular requirements.

Masts and towers in prestressed spun concrete

Slender, stable, and especially long-lived: these are three powerful arguments speaking for this product. An additional benefit is rapid assembly of prefabricated components: with the installation of connecting and fastening members, we can quickly implement a communication facility that is ready for use. Thanks to top Europoles quality, preventive and corrective maintenance costs remain at a minimum.

Masts and towers with solid steel walls

These masts and towers are extremely stable, but relatively light at the same time. Polygonal or round: Europoles offers both. Our solid-steel-wall masts are made of high-quality steel sheet and are hot-dip galvanized. This treatment, together with coatings, guarantees maximum corrosion resistance and, in turn, low life-cycle costs.

FRP - the lightweight

Our masts made of fiberglass-reinforced plastics are particularly well suited for relatively short heights, terrain that is difficult to access, as well as roof stations. Thanks to their light weight, FRP poles and masts can usually be erected without mobile cranes. This reduces installation costs. And you have a great deal of design leeway: availability in all RAL colors allows you to match radio towers and masts to the building and to surroundings.

Lattice-steel towers

Lattice-steel towers are very flexible with respect to planning their heights and footprints. The models provided will depend entirely on your individual wishes. Lattice-steel towers can be delivered in individual parts to the construction site and assembled there. The light transport and assembly weights mean that these towers are especially well suited for construction at locations with difficult access.
