Wind-measurement poles (Weatherpoles) help inform air-traffic control of wind speed and direction. Europoles delivers wind-measurement poles made of carbon- and glass-fibre reinforced plastic. Thanks to their great stiffness, they stand up to heavy wind loads and can also enable exact measurements of extreme wind speeds. Their conical mast form also minimizes icing. Thanks to a hinged base plate, our wind-measurement poles can be simply tilted down to the ground and later raised with the aid of a screw jack. Whether for use in mounting sensors or runway lighting elements - installation and maintenance are fast and economical in all cases.
