Europoles offers employees holiday child-minding free of charge

What do you do with the children in the holidays? Many working parents, especially if they are on their own, have problems when kindergartens and schools close for the holiday period. Many couples take leave at different times so that one of them at least can look after the kids.

When a company offers holiday child-minding, it helps its staff to combine professional life with family commitments. And what is more, they can then spend their leave together.

Actively supporting the balance of family and work
For the first time the Europoles company, together with the Bündnis für Familie [Family Alliance], is offering its staff in Neumarkt a crèche for holiday child-minding free of charge. Europoles sees itself as being not just an employer but a partner. The company takes its social responsibilities very seriously.

'Combining children with a career is difficult enough at the best of times. Our free holiday child-minding facility is aimed at giving our employees systematic support,' says Nicole Sude, Head of HR at Europoles. 'This service is designed to support a family-friendly corporate ethos.'
